Xbox Series X.
For everyone who is not aware of the Xbox history, this was a new gaming console that stepped into the market nearly two decades ago. It was a brave move to compete with the established industry leaders such as PlayStation, Nintendo, and SEGA. Back in the day being able to play online in HD resolution was impressive. If that was impressive, tell me what you’d call this next generation gaming tech. It’s time to settle your hunger for gaming!

When you crack into the packaging, inside we can find the console itself, a controller, an ultra-high-speed HDMI cable, and a 2-prong power cable. The Xbox Series X is a minimalist block of a console with a subtle design that is instantly engaging. It is very compact compared to the massive Play Station 5, the series X can fit into practically any tight space, it can be placed upright or sideways whichever way you’d like.
On the front of the device, you can find 1 USB type-A port for charging and connection, a sync button, a disk drive power button, and the main power button hidden behind the Xbox logo. At the back of the device, you can find 2 USB type-A ports,1 network port for ethernet, 1 power connection port,1 HDMI out port, and a storage expansion slot.
The device is integrated with a brand new super-fast SSD velocity architecture that helps the console boot up faster than ever before which justifies its price of 499 USD. The Series X comes with a 7nm chip (SOC) based on the Zen 2 and RDNA 2 architectures from AMD. It also consists of an 8 core CPU which runs at 3.8GHz with 16GB of GDDR6 RAM and 1 TB of custom NVme SSD internal storage.
Now the latest and greatest next-gen Xbox Series X is capable of gaming in True 4K at a breathtaking 120fps. That’s not all, it also supports 8K HDR, 4K Blu-ray playback and it comes with Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) for better efficiency. The series X is inaudibly quiet, even when playing games at 4K 60fps, this beast barely whispers. The series X simply performs like a high-end gaming PC, only this doesn’t cost as much.
One of the main selling points of the Series X is that Microsoft decided to opt for continuity across generations. Because of this not only can you enjoy your favorite titles on your new next-gen gaming console, you’ll have an even better gaming experience thanks to the 8K HDR. The continuity can even be seen on the controllers as the controller from the Xbox series X can be interchanged with older Xbox controllers. For example, you can you use an Xbox One controller with the latest Xbox Series X and vice versa.
The new controller comes with a USB type C port which used to be a micro USB in older versions. It’s all the good and new improvements but with the look that we all know and love. It is in fact a removable battery set up again referring to the cross-compatibility across the older gen consoles.
All of this adds up to the ultimate conclusion folks. This device is the fastest, most powerful, and most capable Xbox ever. The Series X is almost twice as powerful as the Xbox One X and about 20% better than the newly released Play Station 5.
